MY STORYSince 2019, Elsa Tejero has adopted a narrative curiosity that has allowed her to capture stories through a soft and elegant perspective.
Based in Illinois, US. Open to travel worldwide.
I seek to blend elements of design and art into my photography — capturing moments that feel like a sigh: elegant, fleeting, and full of emotion.
To me, the narrative within each image is just as important as its post-production. That’s why I strive to remain faithful to what I remember seeing — to the light, the mood, the feeling of that exact moment.
My goal is to create images that last for years to come, that grow gracefully with time — not ones tied to passing trends, but to memory itself.
Natures green will always remain de same, the color of the morning light, your childhood dress, those colors are important to me and I always wish to bring the through when editing your photos.
In 2021, I met my now-husband — and my life changed.
We got married, and I moved thousands of miles away to a small town in Illinois, USA.
I still believe in the magic of freezing time through photography.
The changing seasons, new faces, and unfamiliar places fill me with a deep sense of wonder and curiosity.
SERVICESMy name is Elsa, and I grew up for almost 28 years in a little piece of paradise called Mérida, Mexico.
Surrounded by nature in vivid green, with an endless summer and no seasons that make time feel like it stands still, immersed in Yucatecan culture filled with embroidered flowers on linen dresses, pastel-colored houses with white details that looked like meringue on their walls — I inevitably became a hopeless romantic.
I studied a degree in Graphic Design, but long before that, I had a fascination with portraits — first through visual art, through drawing and painting.
When I started high school, I began taking basic photography classes on Saturday mornings with a small Canon PowerShot camera. I couldn't change the lens, but I could learn to shoot in manual mode.
Since that year, photography has been a constant presence in my life, every single day.
